Welcome! Thank you for visiting.

While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see. ~Dorothea Lange

Detroit state of mind

Such a HUGE blessing that my work allows me time with the beloved Kimball family!!
It was an amazing time for me, full of rest and reflection, smores, a Jane Austen room with a view, garden and homeschool inspiration. Time to talk with my sister (from another mother), Amy, and to explore their new Ann Arbor farm- which you should totally follow on Amy's blog- (anything tackled by Amy and Nate Kimball is worth following. It will blow you away.)
Amy and I photographed a wedding for some dear friends of theirs in Detroit and it was so touching.
I cried- which in this line of work is not a good combo!
Beautiful family and friends with joy and thankfulness in abundance.
I miss everybody already.....

Baby Romano!

It was such a pleasure to capture these moments for the Romano family- awaiting their new baby girl!
You guys were so fun and I am super excited for you!
Two kids-
So amazing and double the fun!!

Esther and John

It was an honor to be a part of John and Esther's day.
They are two special people who have such generous hearts.
In the short time I have known them, they have been a blessing to me and an encouragement and,
It was clear from their surrounding family and friends that I am not alone in that sentiment.
I am so excited to see how God continues to use you both and blesses you on the road ahead!
Congratulations!

Alexa and Avery

What a pleasure to hang out with these two adorable little girls and their mom (and Kelly)!
We had so much fun running around Locust Grove
The lighting was great, the weather was great and most important
The girls were all smiles!
Thanks for hanging out with me, beautiful miss Alexa and totally adorable Avery!
