Detroit state of mind

Such a HUGE blessing that my work allows me time with the beloved Kimball family!!

It was an amazing time for me, full of rest and reflection, smores, a Jane Austen room with a view, garden and homeschool inspiration. Time to talk with my sister (from another mother), Amy, and to explore their new Ann Arbor farm- which you should totally follow on Amy's blog- (anything tackled by Amy and Nate Kimball is worth following. It will blow you away.)

Amy and I photographed a wedding for some dear friends of theirs in Detroit and it was so touching.

I cried- which in this line of work is not a good combo! 

Beautiful family and friends with joy and thankfulness in abundance.

I miss everybody already.....

Baby Romano!

What a pleasure to hang out with these two adorable little girls and their mom (and Kelly)!

I left this photo shoot feeling totally blessed.

Just being with Chris and Hannah made me remember why I married my husband and started on the crazy family journey together.

There love for each other is so sweet and sincere, but full of strength.

I am honored to have captured these moments and to be a part of their upcoming wedding day.

I know you can't tell by their beautiful and happy faces, but it was cold the day I met Faith, Justin, Caylee and Mason down by the water!

Colder than we thought it would be!
